Academic class

Our academic fine art course is a program of study designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles and techniques of fine art. The course typically covers a wide range of subjects and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and art history.

Our experienced and passionate instructors will guide students through the fundamentals of academic art, such as composition, perspective, color theory, and drawing techniques.
In our class, students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums, including pencil, charcoal, paint, and clay.

The course begins with a strong emphasis on drawing. Students typically start with basic exercises like sketching geometric shapes and progress to more complex subjects such as still lifes, figures, and landscapes.

Once students have a solid foundation in drawing, they will move on to painting. They may study a variety of techniques, including watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting.

The sculpture is another key component of many art courses. Students may work with various materials, including clay, wood, metal, and stone.

In addition to studio classes, students in our academic art course will learn art history. This may include studying the work of essential artists from various time periods and regions, as well as learning about different art movements and styles.

Our small class sizes ensure students get personalized attention and feedback on their work. Students will receive comments on their work from their instructors and peers. They will learn to give and receive critiques, which can help them to improve their skills and develop their artistic voice.
Overall, our academic course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in fine art principles and techniques to help them unlock their creative potential and achieve their artistic goals.
